Product Description 3M Hookit Low Profile Backup Pad is constructed of soft density foam with a blunt tapered edge and is recommended for finishing applications on flat or contoured surfaces. From the Manufacturer The 3M Hookit hook-and-loop feature makes disc attachment, removal, and re-attachment easy and facilitates use and re-use of the disc for the extent of the abrasive life. Hookit disc pads have J-shaped hooks of the type most commonly used in everyday hook-and-loop applications. Hookit disc pads grip the brushed nylon loop backings of 3M Hookit discs and provide a finer finish than do adhesive backed discs. The Hookit system is designed for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. This disc pad can also be used with hook-and-loop discs from other manufacturers.
